it was a long ride home
and i know you didn't mean
at least half of what you said
trouble it comes at a half past two
when the whiskey settles in
a perfect mistake
but the bruises you make
the bruises you make
i'm collecting the bones of the ones who loved me most
i keep them on a shelf
death, it hides the truth from the lies
seen through bloodshot eyes
the ghosts in this house
see the bruises you make
the bruises you make
it was a long ride home
and you know i didn't mean
at least half of what i said
trouble it comes
at a half past two
when the whiskey settles in
the ghosts in this house
see the bruises i make
the bruises i make

A refreshing slice of the moment of peace that exists between the music of now, and the time when artists like DJ Cam were starting to turn the word "chillout" into a soulful and necessary part of any persons music collection. This is now, and this is a track consistent to other pieces by the Animals at Night. Sure to please newcomers and the faithful. Scott Meister
This album is the perfect thing to listen to while laying down in the back-yard or on the roof while looking up at the stars, and contemplating life. Heartwarming sounds and signals that stimulate the mind, Moon Songs is a soundtrack for the stars and blinking lights at night. It's hard to pick a favorite track...so I'm leaning toward just getting yourself comfortable and listening to the whole thing uninterrupted. "The View From Above" is a nice pay-off for doing so.
