the letters that you wrote me from jail
won't fade
they won't fade
the lightning that struck me, it said
don't wait
don't wait
the night that I left you
you screamed
no way
no way
wrapped your hands around my neck and claimed
you're dead
stole my husbands gun and fired twice
at your heart
your heart
made it cross country in three days
three days
three days
didn't take you long to track me down
please stay
please stay
ghosts are so much easier to love
your ghost
the letters that you wrote me from jail
won't fade
they won't fade
the lighting that struck me, it said
don't wait
don't wait
didn't take you long to track me down
please stay
please stay
ghosts are so much easier to love
your ghost

A refreshing slice of the moment of peace that exists between the music of now, and the time when artists like DJ Cam were starting to turn the word "chillout" into a soulful and necessary part of any persons music collection. This is now, and this is a track consistent to other pieces by the Animals at Night. Sure to please newcomers and the faithful. Scott Meister

This album is the perfect thing to listen to while laying down in the back-yard or on the roof while looking up at the stars, and contemplating life. Heartwarming sounds and signals that stimulate the mind, Moon Songs is a soundtrack for the stars and blinking lights at night. It's hard to pick a favorite track...so I'm leaning toward just getting yourself comfortable and listening to the whole thing uninterrupted. "The View From Above" is a nice pay-off for doing so.
